Green Tourism Awards 2013

The Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS) is the leading sustainable tourism certification scheme in the UK.  Green Tourism businesses are focused on being sustainable, responsible and green. This is demonstrated through three grading levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) and businesses are assessed every two years to ensure standards are maintained.

Beautiful South Awards 2013/14

Tylney Hall Hotel in Hook, Hampshire was toasting their success last week when they were awarded with Highly Commended in the ‘Large Hotel of the Year’ category at this year’s prestigious Beautiful South Awards.

The awards, which are organised by Tourism South East (TSE) for businesses in the tourism and hospitality industry, are presented to companies which provide an exceptional level of service within their field.

TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2013

Hampshire hotel, Tylney Hall Hotel and its Oak Room Restaurant, have both been awarded Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence.

Beautiful South Awards 2012/13

The country house hotel at Rotherwick, near Hook, is delighted to have won the Silver Award for the Large Hotel award and a Highly Commended Awards for the Business Tourism award in the Beautiful South Awards for Excellence 2012.This follows the successes of Tylney Hall winning the silver award for Outstanding Customer Service in the national Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2011 and a highly commended award for Large Hotel of the Year in the 2011 Beautiful South Awards.

Announcing the hotel’s place in the final six of the Large Hotel section and Business Tourism categories in the Beautiful South Awards Peter Colling, Managing Director of Tourism South East said ‘We’re thrilled with the high calibre of entrants this year and their amazing achievements. The standard of all entrants is exceptional this year and the shortlist selection has proved extremely challenging. In the current economic climate it is more important than ever to provide an outstanding visit experience and we are delighted to recognise their efforts. Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2012

In November 2012, Tylney Hall was also nominated and was a finalist in the 2013 Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence in the category for Executive Meeting Proposal. These awards recognise hotels and venues that provide an outstanding experience in the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions sector.

Tylney Hall is rated as an AA Red Star hotel, the standard awarded for the highest levels of accommodation and customer service.
