No matter what your thoughts are on what some call the most romantic day of the year, I think that there is a little bit of a romantic in all of us, especially when we have found ‘the one’.
I am a romantic at heart and love nothing more than the fairytale ‘happy ever after’, even more so if I have played a small part as fairy godmother. Being in Reservations allows me to do so on occasions when nervous boyfriends phone up to book a romantic stay or dinner in the restaurant and mention that they are planning to propose whilst they are staying with us. I am delighted when they ask for my help and advice on how to propose especially if they haven’t been to the hotel before, so I can suggest ideal locations or little surprises which they may not have thought of!
I get so excited for the girlfriend in question and hope that from all the planning and thought put into the occasion by the boyfriend that she says yes. The best feeling for me is finding out, after they have visited the hotel that they are engaged, and are going to embark on the magical whirlwind of wedding planning and the rest of their lives together.
If anyone is thinking of popping the question this Valentine's or even any ladies taking advantage of the approaching 29th February, I would be delighted to assist in your planning in anyway to make it as special as I possibly can for you and your future fiancée.
Of course romance doesn’t only have to take place on the 14thFebruary or the weekends surrounding it. We have romantic breaks available year round and in my eyes any time of year is perfect to romance the love of your life.
