Our first event from our In-residence bestselling author, Lia Leendertz. Spend a leisurely Monday afternoon with a talk from Lia, a mini tour of the gardens and a delicious spring-inspired Afternoon Tea with a glass of Champagne.
Lia is the author of the bestselling book The Almanac: a Seasonal Guide, and in the run up to the spring equinox she will host an introduction to living by the seasons with an emphasis on the spring months, followed by a tour round the gardens with head gardener Paul. Using extracts from her book, Lia will introduce attendees to the many ways they can connect with the seasons and the turn of the year, and will talk about some of the things that make the spring months special: happenings in the sky at night during the month ahead, what is happening in nature, seasonal food, recipes, festivities, and of course the garden.
