Winchester Farmers' Markets

The award-winning Winchester Farmers' Market is the largest of the Hampshire's Farmers Market, held twice a month. It is regarded as the largest regular farmers market in the whole UK, with up to 90 stalls! Fill your basket with the most delicious, fresh, seasonal locally produced food.

NGS - Garden Open Days

Throughout 2020 gardens across Hampshire, including Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens, will be opening to the public in support of the National Garden Scheme. 

NGS gardens are spread right across the Hampshire and offer a very diverse range of interest for both the keen gardener and the casual visitor.

There are a large number of gardens with rivers running through them, such as those in Longstock, Bere Mill, Dipley Mill and Weir House; gardens with large vegetable kitchen gardens such as Dean House and Bramdean House; and unique gardens such as Hanging Hosta Gardens which has over 1300 hosta cultivars.

Farnham Maltings Monthly Market

First Saturday of every month - 9.00am-4pm
Entry £1 (free for members, under 15s and Maltings Instagram followers)

Taking place on the first Saturday of every month, the Maltings’ Monthly Market is one of the oldest and largest quality markets in Surrey and Hampshire.

For over 40 years the market has drawn stall holders from all over the UK.

Around 200 stalls to browse – an excellent way to spend a Saturday!

Jane Austen's House Museum.

Discover Britain's most-loved writer at the  Jane Austen's House Museum in Chawton, Hampshire. The only house that is open to the public where Jane, herself, lived and wrote!

We are open 7 days a week, according to the following seasonal hours:
