With frost blanketing the estate, roaring log fires and twinkling lights, our mansion house is almost ready to be transformed into a winter wonderland. It's the next best thing to being in Lapland, just with a touch more luxury and a lot less travel time.
With the season arriving later this month, we are preparing decorations, menus and all-around Christmas spirit to share with guests. We asked our wonderful team what makes Christmas at Tylney Hall so special...
Ellie: The Entrance
I will never tire of the drive into the Tylney Hall Estate at Christmas. When the light go up outside the main house, and along the driveway, it feels totally magical. Sometimes we're even lucky enough to spot some deer, who I can only assume are preparing for their Christmas Eve flight!
Kirsty: The Build Up
At Tylney Hall we don't only focus on the Big Day itself - we have an exciting line up of festive-themed events and menus running all the way through December. This builds such an excitement in the run up to Christmas, that the whole month feels like a big celebration. The general atmosphere at this time is so fun!
Laura: The Festive Flavours
The best thing about Christmas at Tylney Hall is the seasonal twists on our menus. From classic turkey roasts to creative dishes using local produce, there’s always something delicious. My personal favourite, though, is the Festive Afternoon Tea - it’s a right treat!
Molly: The Cosy Vibes
My favourite thing about Christmas at Tylney is when everyone has arrived for the House Party and comes together in the Lounge to relax, have a drink and listen to the choir singing next to the fireplace. All areas are decorated, so it looks beautiful and it’s the cosiest start to Christmas Eve.
